The Biology of the Male and Female Brain in Filmmaking
I was really surprised to see that some of the things that people get upset about like, Oh, you know, whether you're feminine. A lot of it is actually based in our biology and not necessarily our sociology or socialization as humans. There are group differences in neuroanatomy and neurophysiology between men and women. But sometimes they're relatively strong, more often they're quite weak. And very often differences that people have assumed to be primarily driven by genetic sex differences turn out to be driven as much or lots more by culture and developmental experience.
