The Korean War: A Sign of Things to Come
After Stalin's death in 1953, China and the Soviets agreed to a treaty of friendship. The deal highlighted Soviet lack of enthusiasm toward new Chinese regime. This alliance would come up against a test during the Korean War. It also says to the world watching on, especially those on the other side of the Cold War, that China and Russia were going to back things up with guns.
