The Role of the Critical Press
The royal commission in the seventies was a landmark in terms of the role of the critical press. The media seems me tha, journalists are that the world of journalism is widely transformed. You you have what many would consider a critical dumbing down of of media to the extent where there is aa vast diminishment of investigative journalism. And at the same time, you have technology being involved, so that so many people are able to contribute towards what is broadly construed to be journalistic practices. I certainly think ar quite quite true and and invalid. But that's my prospective of somebody who doesn't pretend to really understand these things.
