AI and the Writers Guild

The Writers Guild Association proposed that the AI could potentially be used as a tool in the writer's room. The studios rejected that proposal and then they countered it with an offer of annual meetings to discuss advancements in technology. They also do not want AI being credited as the author of any script. It would seem that while they don't want it taking their jobs, they're more than happy to have it do their jobs for them just so long as they're still getting that paycheck in the end.
