Jim Simons says trend following has not worked since the 1980s and he's worth $16 billion, thus I can retire back to my mutual fund of buy and hold. If you think trend following doesn't work, do more than simply watch two minutes of a TED talk video. Investigate, do the homework. Do some back testing. Get into it yourself. Don't just be a lemming that trusts. Look at the evidence. Great trend following traders are a skeptic. That's a better path than pure blind trust.
