When a Ferguson police officer killed Mike Brown, were you already active on Twitter at the time? "I think I saw other people using it when we were out on the streets and I started to sort of live tweet what was happening day after day in Ferguson," she says. Kayla: It created opportunity for just sort of a collective consciousness raising where folks were able to tap in from far away as far away as overseas or just in different states.
