What Happens When You Don't Support Cops?

I had a friend who is a police officer, since retired. He was explaining me what was happening in the new york city police department. Cops would go out and let's say there was a guy driving swerving around the road a little bit. And then what happens? You you run the guys record. The guy's got a warrant. Turns out he's wanted for murder. Guy's off the street, at a minimum, the whole week end,. At a minimum, probably for a long time. That guy doesn't go on to shoot some one. When d you take the opposite approach, discretionary, voluntary police actions? I want to be clear. Tol provin guilty
