Recent studies led by neuroscientist Elsa Line Hochzema in Europe show that pregnant women's brains develop a better ability to understand other people's thoughts, feelings, and intentions. The increase in emotional intelligence as a result of pregnancy may have led Diana to realize that Charles never liked her much in the first place.
