Khrushchev - Is There a Story of Him Looking Outwards Into the Black Sea?
Krushchev made the decision to put missiles in Cuba on his own. He didn't tell advisors Anatoly Dobriniin and Alleg Trianovski, who were experts on the United States. Khrushchev encouraged them to simply say 'yes' when he asked for a change of policy. The move was seen by some as an answer to U.S. missile tests in Turkey.
