The Responsibility of Humanity in Climate Change
There's a reflex on the left to blame corporations for ecological ruin. Is there any way to get our consumption patterns off the hook, or can we externalize all the blame onto those somewhat abstract actors? One of the reasons I'm not entirely optimistic about how far we're going to survive this is that not enough people are prepared to recognize their own role in the creation of the catastrophe that's facing us.
