The Importance of Having a Degree

Sally Kohn: Parents are driving so much of this because they want their kids to have this degree and the parents don't get the very things that you're talking about on this podcast right now as the most important. She says a degree is ever less valuable in the real marketplace. Kohn: We've got to come up with better ways to mix it up, a little school, a little work. You could do this from the age of 11 or 12. It would just benefit people immensely.
