Deatre: Religion will remain a human coping mechanism for trying to navigate whatever that is. We just need to be aiming towards the same target, which is this world here. The reason i support social justice causes - if we don't believe that a god is going to make a new heaven and a new earth, then there is no solution with a capital s coming from on high. I think one of the reasons people reach out to god, gods heaven, the spiritual plane and next life magical answers,. is becaus there's so much misery in their lives on this earth, they need to cope.
