The Negative Emotions of French Fries

When we think of things as intrinsically real then we are contradicted by how they actually are not permanent not solid not autonomous. The ego really reacts to being contradicted but it's not the ego which is making this assumption necessarily, it’s our own misunderstanding of phenomena. Our sense of self is constantly changing and is constantly interacting it is made out of different parts or views of ourselves. How we think of our own sense of self which we are defensive about is already a bit of a misunderstanding because it is actually empty of any intrinsic existence now.
