Do You Think They Want to Strip the Supreme Court of Jurisdiction?
It's not obvious actually, what exactly the progressors have in mind now that they want to strip jurisdiction of. There are some specific issues, i think, where there is a calculation that, a, the supreme court is uniquely bad from their perspective and you get better answers if you left it in the hands of either state courts or lower federal courts. And so lets em disempower the supreme court and leave this in the handsof some circuit courts, where maybe progressors be happier with the answer on some gunrights cases.
