The Importance of Independence Day

If I was a Marxist, I would put this as a federal holiday on the heels of our actual independence day to preempt it and compete with it. We're at a place where kids are going to be raised in a country where they think we have two independence days. And eventually you have to choose one, which one do you associate with more? This is all in the midst of Pride Month, the regalia of the deadliest sin of all.
