The Importance of Tabuk in the History of Islam

Tabuk is now one of the largest cities in arabia it's a stone sthar away from jordan. It used to be on the trading route between sham and medina between sham and yaman but nobody really lived in tabuk. After the prophet saslams time and early islam people began to congregate there over time. The ottomans built a famous fortress remnants of which still stand to this day. They made tabuk one of the main stopping points for rail travel during the 1800s and early 1900s.
