Movies as Narratives Can Provide a Great Space for Debate
How do we construct meaning in a post death of god world? What does it mean? Even within this film, its is promoting this idea of like a self driven moral conscience. I think movies as narratives can provide a great space for having those discussions that there might not otherwise be a context for. When you can frame it around a narrative that people are interested in, or a story, it kind of opens up this door to discussing all kinds of things that we wouldn't otherwise. It's also what attracted me to this movie, specifically, because i like how kingdom of heaven raises all these questions.
