The Judiciary Accountability Act

The judiciary accountability act, or the j a, that's h r forty eight, 27 and s two, five five three, is te companion senate bill. It would finally enable law clerks to sue judges and seek damages for harm done to their careers, reputations and potential. The ja would also do a couple of other things - it would create accountability for judicial misconduct by revising title 28 of the us Code. And then it would collect and report some data on the outcomes of judicial misconduct complaints and diversity in clerkship and federal public defender hiring.
