The Ukraine war is serving as a useful red dye test of our defense industrial capacity. And we're not doing very well on that test. I'm distressed at the lack of general urgency that is being addressed to the expansion of our military industrial base, which is essential. If we're going to be prepared for a big war with China, which is the ideological requirement of committing to the defense of Taiwan, then we have to have the military that is capable of doing that and we're not there yet.
