The Importance of Concession
Every losing incumbent has submitted to their loss, but they've actually conceded defeat. What's the damage that's done if an incumbent fades out without that sort of performative concession? Well, one thing I guess we should point out is, it's not necessarily the case that Nancy Pelosi would become a president if there is no presidential let come noon on January 20th. But what I can certainly imagine is that and I don't think I'm alone in this, imagining that there's an opportunity for a lot of civil unrest in this country. And I think the opportunities for violence are not to be overlooked, especially if you have a president who is willing to really play a constitutional bragmanship
