In past culture, like in the seventies and eighties, you tended to see a lot of conservatives would say things like, well, what you do in your bedroom is your sex act. Now man can't just be himself. It's not enough to just be yourself. You actually have to be accepted as your authentic inner self and affirmed by society in that inner psychological and sexual self. So our cultures utterly rejected this model of society where everyone can do their own thing, so long as you don't hurt anyone else. No, you have to bake the cake celebrating gayness.
