The Importance of Bipartisanship in Politics
I think there's this obsession in terms of performative bipartisanship, but it doesn't actually bring out any good outcomes for working assessments. I'm certainly not arguing that you shouldn't try to work with your Republican colleagues. It just seems that sometimes for some politicians, the process is almost the result for them. They're able to say, well, I worked with my Republican colleagues as if that's the most important thing. In the end, when we're being split apart by people trying to scare Americans from trusting each other and loving their fellow Americans, its really morally bankrupt.
