The Cross Connection

We heard a very weird voice on the speaker without the call being connected. There were no dialed seconds or minutes being flashed, but we could hear someone howling in a squeaky and scary tone. After a dozen clicks, I thought of resuming the work. So I took the walkie telephone, put on the speaker and dialed a number to call. What we all heard sent chills to our spine.
