The Role of Albedo Feedback in the Arctic Ocean Warming
In 2012, we had a very persistent wind pattern up in the Arctic that basically blew all the ice from one area to another. And so both of those things contributed to the rapid loss of sea ice that summer. So if that pattern or a similar pattern were to set up, it's definitely much more likely now that we'll see,. you know, a big drop in the sea ice.
