Off the Record Is Not Absolute
The judge overseeing the grand jury process ordered us to testify, but limited scope. I testified for about 20 minutes. If you write something ad ssert ed to be true, and a judge says, simply go there and tell everyone that you told the truth - i respect that. There's challenges with the idea of off the record, because sometimes there's bad people who do bad things. But if we're going to do the best we can at being transparent, that means sometimes wep act sources who are concerned about certain information. It's a real ethical challenge.
