I'm a big, I have no problem with some kind of safety net. But I do have a problem with working my butt off between Christmas and New Year's and not doing anything. And that's where the system has become broken in my humble opinion. As rates go up, it makes housing that much more unattractive. If you're sitting in a house with a low interest mortgage, say 3%, you're not going to want to move because you're going to be jacked up to 6%.
