The FDA's 2,000 Approval of Miffapress Stone Was Not Legal
A lawsuit was brought by 12 states in the District of Columbia and they were arguing that the FDA's restrictions on Miffapress Stone didn't pass legal muster. The judge issued what's called a 705 stay, which is technically different than a nationwide injunction but for our purposes is a nationwide injunction. And so it stays that approval, meaning it temporarily rescinds that approval as if the drug had never gotten FDA approval 23 years ago.
