Women Local Councillors in Wales
The pandemic hit right in the middle of my data collections, tho i had to quickly shift everythingon line. A lot of positive talk around what this might do in terms of a diversifying and opening up council chambers to a kind of more diverse range of counsillors. I think it's been written into the formal rules. And we've got the local council elections coming up here in wales, you know, in may... It'll be interesting to see whether we have seen an increase in kind of the percentage over all of women participating as local government councillors.
