Eve's Frontal Assault on the Woman

Eve says you shall not eat from it or touch it lest you die. It's almost a weakening this taking place here because God in chapter two had used extremely strong language. The devil seems to suspect that this is the time for him to boldly step forward and say what he has to say. That's the way in which the temptation begins and then transitions until he finally begins his frontal assault against Eve.
