i grew up thinking i'm safe till the end of high school. And if high school is like crunch time, and then college and onwards, i should be like whatever corean american ideal weight is. My mam would always say, it's fine to be troubier when you're young, because you have to have it till i grow tall,. But once you hit 18, you'll just get super skinny. I can now question if her beliefs about her body might have been integrated into how i think about things even though they might not make sense at the time. As we can see them through an adult lens as well in their relationship with food - what do your parents believe
