Labour fought last general election under Jeremy Corbyn all of three years ago. As a party, Labour has moved on and away from the Corbyn era. Some privately argue there aren't that many people who could get to grips with all of this in a politically canny way. The danger is you do something that is righteous and proper, but actually could go down a cup of cold-sick with voters. So, I think this has been carefully calibrated to minimise the chances of policy proposals going wrong.
