Most pastoral callings don't pay very much, so pastors have to get a house or some sort of apartment. Dan: Even not having debt and having a somewhat well paying as far as pastoring is concerned could be a massive problem. He says it's like any other sin, masculine sin, especially it's very shameful. And once you have that hook without repentance, the church will probably require you to step down.
