The problem with our intellectual sphere today isn't that there are too few voices. The problem is that not everyone is speaking with the same goal, writes Julian Zelizer. For intellectuals with prominent public positions, their prominence can make it harder to stay intellectually honest, he says. But maybe it can be easier to maintain integrity if you're a different kind of intellectual, said Zelizer.
