Dorsal D Ip Joint Dislocation - What Is the Most Common Form of Injury?
Middle phalanx, palmar lip fractures are the most frequently encountered form of ossious injury associated with dorsal p ip joint fracture dislocations. Arthurdesis is indicated in the setting of a highly comminuted injury without significant soft tissue loss or vascular injury. A 32 year old mail sustains a stable dorsal proximal interphalange joint, or p ip joint dislocation. Pure p ip joint hyper extension often disrupts the palmar plate,. either at its distal insertion or by creating a tension fracture at the palmar lip of the middle phalanx.
