Elle Fanning stars as author Mary Shelley in biographical story of her love affair with the poet Percy Bisch Shelley, played by Douglas Booth. I found this film very dull - it's one of these things where she was a really unconventional person and her arc and how she became an author is very unconventional. And yet it's the most conventional film ever in terms of sort of romantic beats. They also play havoc with the chronology, which as a pedant really bugged the shit out of me.
