In 2018, when we were watching the Australia-Pakistan series in the UAE, we'd seen him bow on the nets and he looked a million bucks. He nearly got a test to boo for the second test at Abu Dhabi ahead of Peter Siddle because he looked so good in the nets. Justin Langer was drawn to him and continued to be drawn to him over a pretty long stretch of time - until COVID happened. There was enough hype around Neesa. And how he gets to Glamorgan in 2021 is via Surrey and the missed opportunity in 2020. Reminiscent of the bad luck that Mitch Marsh has enjoyed at the oval.
