Children Get Out of Board Games

As a child, you don't have too much control around about the world around you. On a board game, you're equal with the adults. You might have a chance of beating your dad on your mum at it because the rules have evened out the playing field. I think another thing children get out of board games in particular is learning how to lose. It kind of helps teach people to go, well, I didn't win that time. That's okay. I can handle it. I don't have to win every time.
