Living with undiagnosed ADHD as an adult tends to look very unladylike. Women are more likely than men to internalize their ADHD behaviors. This internalizing comes with self criticism, self doubt and something called rejection sensitive dysphoria. All of those coping strategies fall off when the perfectionism just crumbles.
