He says there are two key decisions that JFK makes immediately the start of the Missile Crisis. The first week is a private secret phase where it's just a case of JFK and his advisers mulling over the policy options. This group would meet every day during the Cuban Missile Crisis and they would give JFK advice on how to handle it.
