The Plays, in a Way, Give Something More Suhuman Dimensions
Some of the circumstances and events are deliberately close to the actual playhouses. There's one murder that red on thames street, which is just across the river from the rose theatre where the enactment of it was performed. So you get a rather bare account of these events in either the chronicles or the news pamphlets. But the plays give something more three d as it were. I suppose they're trying to pass the censorship of the late elizabethan world of plays.
