Simon Seabag Wantafuré's latest book is a world history through the prism of families and dynasties. Rob Atter talks to Simon about why he chose this approach for his new work. He says it was an attempt to avoid the distance that goes with most other world histories. And one of the things I also really wanted to do was to make this book completely diverse, completely global - just like everyone has family.
