The Story of Zhou Enlai
Zhou Enlai sailed on the French vessel Port-Thos on November 7, 1920. Zhou also made a little extra rice agreeing to serve as a foreign correspondent in Paris for a local Tianjin daily. Do you remember Liu Qingyang and Zhang Shunfu? They too came to France in early 1921. In May 1921, Zhang and Liu reeled in quite a nice-sized fish when they sponsored Zhou's membership to the Chinese Communist Party.
