The Biden Administration's Meeting With Mexico's President Attempts to End the Pandemic Era Rule
The U.S. could be less than three weeks away from defaulting on its debt unless Congress acts. A prolonged crisis could drive up interest rates and put more than 8 million Americans out of work. President Biden says Congress needs to raise the nation's borrowing limit, no strings attached. Speaker McCarthy and Republicans say the debt limit hike needs to be paired with major domestic spending cuts.
