Cricket has always felt to me like a relatively working-class sport. But I've never felt like class has been a barrier for entry, nor is necessarily being from what would be known over here as BAME background either. Cricket and the pathways may not quite have the same representation all the way through with Asian players and certainly not with Indigenous players - but I don't think the problems are as obvious and as acute as the ones being spelled out in the report. It's maybe that the class aspect is less entrenched. Maybe access and equity is less an issue just because of space. In the next six years, trying to level the playing field almost entirely when it comes to to pay
