The Importance of a Telescope

We're going to put that extraordinary moment into the time capture, just that lovely memory of you all sing together. So we've got two left. We've got one that you want to bury because you'd like to forget it and one more happy memory. I'll save the one I'd like to bury for last if that's all right. It's Christmas and my father and mother give to me as a present telescope, a tiny, cheap little reflector. That began a lifelong obsession with space and astronomy and cosmology. Actually, it's even my doorway into physics, which I'm also fascinated by. And I long for those along for that sky and big sky.
