Is There a Social Bonding Function?

There is evidence that there's kind of a social bonding function, right? There does tend to be more teasing and sarcasm in close relationships. And the ideas it's sort of, its building stronger bonds and also allowing you to like jab am and jest with some one in a slightly softer way than if you did it directly. When people are labelled as sarcastic, it isn't a compliment, you know, o bob's so sarcastic. I mean that it kind of a, it's a negative description of someone, because they can't just talk normal. They're always being sarcastic.
