The Mexican Gray Wolf Crossed I-40 Successfully
There's definitely, dear and elk are moving off the San Francisco peaks, which is really high elevation for the winter. So we're kind of situated right along this uplift in geography that the wildlife will move, you know, from higher to lower elevation in the winter months. But that said, we did have a wolf, a Mexican gray wolf in 2001 that was living on the west side of Flagstaff in the National Forest for over six months and he crossed I-40 successfully at least 10 times. It was pretty amazing. And so he figured that out and it's not unheard of.
