The Importance of Having a Backlog for Product Managers

I think the backlog is a good tool for a product manager when you're having conversations with other teams. It helps build really strong partnerships with other teams and then you can help kind of like move projects along if you ever have a gate from another team. That's really key to delivering features in a successful way especially there's like a really complex project that has dependencies on many teams aligning all the dependencies can get tricky so I think for the product manager that's where the backlog becomes a really useful tool. And I think to part of the problem is like the tooling we have is pretty awful for most of this.
