Investing for the Long Term
We subsidize our life style by buying stocks d we only buy the stocks that are going up, and when they go up, we sell em. I tend to take the view that having a very balanced portfolio and knowing what you invest in is probably nine times out of ten right. And yet, we see people piling into companies of questionable potential. My favourite example was, was it hurts that was bankrupt, and everybody decided to buy hurts and sand. So as you're observing, this is part of your brain saying, we have to do x and y and z to stop this, or is it? Well, that's going to be an interesting question.
