William wallace and Andrew murray took part in a battle against the english. The scots won thanks to their superior numbers, but they were also outnumbered. Wallace's reputation was damaged when he had his corpse fleshed out into a sword belt with all of its skin removed. It is thought that murray may have been the brains behind the operation.
